PokePicks ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Textvending, Inc. and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (pokepicks.com), use the PokePicks web app (app.pokepicks.com), use the PokePicks mobile app for Android and iOS (together, the "Apps"), or use our desktop application.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you sign up, sign in, contact us, or report a bug, we may collect:

• Email address (used for your account and to send sign-in codes)
• Name
• City and state
• Bug report details and feedback
• Your saved content: Watchlist items, Early Bird search terms, and the filters you choose

Information collected automatically. When you use the website or the Apps, we may collect:

• IP address
• A random app ID created by the Apps the first time you open them (it is not your phone's hardware ID or advertising ID)
• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• How you use the Apps, such as screens opened, searches, scan speed and errors, and links you tap
• A push notification token, if you turn on alerts

Camera and photos. The mobile app asks for camera access only so you can scan cards and graded slabs. When you scan, the photo you take or choose is sent to our server and to our card-identification provider to read the card or the slab label. Scan photos are deleted from our server within minutes and are not added to your account. We do not access your photo library except for a photo you choose to scan.

Purchases. Subscriptions in the mobile app are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status. We never see or store your payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and secure your account and sign you in with a one-time email code
• Save your Watchlist and Early Bird search terms and keep them in sync across your devices
• Check eBay for new listings that match your Early Bird terms and send you the alerts you asked for, including when an auction you are watching is ending
• Identify cards from your scans and show prices, sold history, and values
• Manage your subscription
• Deliver your secure download link for the PokePicks desktop application
• Send you updates about new features and releases
• Respond to your questions, feedback, or bug reports
• Find and fix problems, and improve our Apps and website
• Prevent abuse (rate limiting, token validation)

3. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Services

PokePicks is an affiliate of eBay and TCGPlayer. When you click a link that takes you to eBay or TCGPlayer and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. These third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

We use eBay's official public API to provide search results, price information, and alerts. We do not access or store your eBay account credentials.

We share information only with service providers that help us run PokePicks, and only what they need:

• CardHedger: receives scan photos to identify cards and slab labels, and provides card pricing
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (and Apple Push Notification service on iOS): delivers push notifications using your device's push token
• Google Play and the Apple App Store: app distribution and subscription billing
• Google Analytics: anonymous usage statistics for our website and web app
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): measures whether our ads lead to visits and sign-ups (no account details are shared)
• Our web hosting and email providers, which store our data and send our emails

4. Data Storage & Security

Your information is stored in a secure database on our hosting provider's servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and secure access controls. Sign-in sessions use secure tokens that expire. Download tokens are time-limited (72 hours) and usage-limited (3 downloads per token).

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account information, Watchlist, and Early Bird terms for as long as your account is active. Scan photos are deleted within minutes. Usage records are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted or made anonymous. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records by law (for example, purchase records kept by Google or Apple).

6. The PokePicks Desktop Application

The PokePicks desktop application runs locally on your computer. It does not collect or transmit personal data to our servers during normal use. The app communicates with eBay's public API to retrieve listing data, with TCGPlayer for market pricing, and with our server solely to check for application updates.

7. Notifications

Push notifications are optional. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings. Tapping "Stop Watching" in Early Bird pauses Early Bird alerts.

8. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our website and web app use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We also use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site and whether our ads work. You can set your browser to reject cookies, though some features may not work as intended.

9. Email Communications

We send sign-in codes and, if you signed up for the desktop app, your secure download link. We may also send occasional emails about major updates or new features. You can opt out of non-essential emails by replying to any email with "unsubscribe" or by contacting us directly.

10. Children's Privacy

PokePicks is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request that we correct or delete your personal data
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time

12. Deleting Your Account and Data

To delete your PokePicks account and its data, email info@pokepicks.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We will confirm your request and delete your account within 30 days.

This deletes your account, sign-in sessions, Watchlist, Early Bird search terms, push notification tokens, and usage records linked to your email. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.

If you have a subscription, cancel it in Google Play or the App Store first. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
